Regarding the application process:

Seebrücke wants to actively initiate processes to make the movement more barrier-free and critical of discrimination; we want everyone in the movement to reflect on their own privileges and their own social position. We are working on transforming spaces and work areas to be more inclusive and critical of discrimination. Seebrücke is a predominantly white movement. The paid team has recently ceased to have a majority of white people. We are in the process of changing the structures of Seebrücke and making them more barrier- free, yet we are still in the early stage of doing so.

In the case of equal qualifications, preference will be given to people with their own experience of racism and/or migration, as well as to people affected by any other and concurrent forms of discrimination. With regard to our field, we particularly welcome applications from people with refugee experience. In the sense of self-description or self- positioning, we invite you (on a voluntary basis) to provide the relevant information in your application.
