Wir sind die Chemnitzer Seebrücke. Unsere schwerpunktmäßige Arbeit ist es, Geflüchteten eine Stimme in der Stadt zu geben. Das Leiden in den Lagern auf den Inseln und im Mittelmeer kann nur durch eine gemeinsame solidarische europäische Antwort beendet werden. Um diese herbeizuführen, bedarf es zivilgesellschaftlichen Engagements. Wir wollen, dass Chemnitz der Initiative „Sichere Häfen” beitritt. Bereits über 200 Kommunen in Deutschland sind teil dieser Initiative. Es geht darum, dass Chemnitz seine Solidarität mit den Geflüchteten ausdrückt und mit den anderen Kommunen Druck auf die Bundesregierung ausübt. Diese soll endlich zustimmen, dass Kommunen und Bundesländer so viele Geflüchtete aufnehmen, wie sie selbst für sich bestimmen. Es gibt 17% leerstehende Wohnungen in Chemnitz. Chemnitz hat Platz, auch für Geflüchtete. Kommt zu unseren Treffen, bringt euch ein, Chemnitz ist bunt und sollte ein Zeichen der Solidarität und der Menschlichkeit setzen. Solidarität mit allen Geflüchteten!

Ansonsten treffen wir uns im Subbotnik in der Vetterstr. 34a in 09126 Chemnitz (geschlossen bis Ende des Jahres 2020). Alle Treffen in 2020 werden online stattfinden.

We are the local Seebruecke group here in Chemnitz. The focus of our volunteer work is to give refugees a voice in our city. The suffering in the camps on the islands and in the Mediterranean can only be stopped by a solidary European answer. To raise this answer, we need commitment in the realm of civil society. We want that Chemnitz join the initative ‘Safe Harbours’. Already over 200 German communes are part of this initiative. The point is that Chemnitz shows its solidarity with all refugees and put pressure on the federal government together with the other communes. The federal government off Germany should finally agree, that communes and federal states get the ability to admit as much refugees as they decide for themselves. There are over 17% vacant housings in Chemnitz. Chemnitz has engough space, also for refugees. Come to our assemblies and bring yourself in. Chemnitz is colorful and should set an example of solidarity and humanity. Solidarity with all refugees!
