06.12.2018 um 19:00 in Brussels, Rond-point Robert Schuman 10, 1040 Bruxelles, Belgium Stand-in: End the criminalization of civilian search and rescue

On the 6th – 7th of December EU Member States’ Ministers’ of the Interior meet in Brussels. Migration will be among the top issues discussed at this Justice and Home Affairs Council.

We want to use this occasion to make clear: We want a Europe that puts human lives before borders. We want an immediate end of the criminalization of civilian search and rescue operations in the Central Mediterranean, an end to the cooperation with and payment of the so-called Libyan Coast Guards, the immediate opening of safe harbors as well as a joint European Search and Rescue operation.

People from all over Europe have been making these demands, taking the streets – from Amsterdam to Poznan, from Athens to Valletta.

Come and join us to make sure these demands do not go unnoticed in #Brussels!. Together for a humane Europe!
