Halle (Saale)

Halle became a safe harbour on December 19, 2018! After the Social and Finance Committee had spoken out in favour, the City Council also voted to accept refugees from the Mediterranean Sea in addition to the admission procedure. The discussion was based on a motion by the SPD, the Left, the Greens and fellow citizens. In this it says: "The city council of Halle (Saale) declares its willingness - in addition to the usual admission procedure - to accept people rescued from distress at sea , especially in the Mediterranean, in Halle (Saale) and to advocate this to the Federal Government and in particular to the Federal Minister of the Interior, for construction and for their homeland".
