After a four-month forced break, Sea-Eye’s ALAN KURDI returns to duty. The Italian authorities had detained the ship in Palermo after the rescue of 150 people during the Corona crisis in early May.
Immediately after the arrest the German flag state authority confirmed that the ALAN KURDI is correctly equipped and certified according to her class of ship. Sea-Eye used the forced break for extensive technical improvements on the ship and could now start again on Friday.
Welcome back, ALAN KURDI! We wish crew and ship fair winds!
