3. May 2021 Sea-Watch 4 need a safe harbor immediately!

Within only 48 hours, the Sea-Watch 4 has saved 455 people from drowning in 6 rescue missions. Now the crew and the rescued people are waiting since Saturday for a port of safety to be assigned to them – without success so far. Sea-Watch 4 is not asking for a favor here, but for compliance with international law: a rescue is not considered complete until the rescued people reach a safe place.

We demand that a port of safety is assigned to the Sea-Watch 4 immediately! The European Maritime Rescue Coordination Centers must no longer ignore their responsibility!
