Hundreds of people die trying to reach to Europe every year. The most fatal route goes through the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, politicians would like to force life-saving organisations to stop. Their ships are seized under trumped up charges of collusion with smugglers, and ports are being closed to those who have been saved.

We say no to politics peddled at the expense of human lives!
We say no to violations of maritime and humanitarian law!
We say no to punishing those who save not only lives, but Europe’s humanity as well!

We are meeting on 2 September in Katowice to protest against this injustice. Be there!

Our protest is part of Europe-wide action organised by the German movement Seebrücke – Schafft sichere Häfen, advocating for open ports and safe routes to Europe.
